Just had my 108's refurbed.

This is the second time is 2 months they have been done due to a faulty laquer coat previously, bloody cold weather. :headbang:

Anyway the place said they would do them again no problems and they were stripped down and recoated.

Tried to pick as near the original colour as possible. I coated them in FK1000p to seal them before the tyres went back on to make them easier when cleaning.

Sorry for the poor picks but they are off my IPhone.

£200 for the whole job, I just handed my keys over and they do the rest. Very professional job.

I've seen them in Halfords what are they like? I just use APC and water with a varied array of small brushes to clean mine.

Are the rims still polished, or did they paint them?

No I had them Powdercoated, I've tried to keep too many chrome rims perfect for too long. I think it looks a lot better painted.

They are similar to a big elec touth brush and a great for 108s. Got it on Amazon For £13.99 with P&P FOC http://tinyurl.com/4mzxpxr
Thats the link. Found one at http://www.lakeland.co.uk at just over £7 but they are out of stock. At that price do you make any wonder.

The Lakeland one is the same thats where i bought mine 3 years ago and still going strong apart from changing the brush head as it was a bit worn out paid more than £7 for mine will have a gander in there tommorrow if they are that cheap and pick up another.

These are great for cleaning the small holes between the wheel bolts
