Just got my Z4 coupe......heartbroken already

Hi All, just thought i'd share with you my rollercoasted first few days of Z4 ownership.

I picked up my '07 Z4 coupe on Saturday after waiting for weeks for the guy to clear the finance...and boy was it worth the wait!
Absolutely love it, just changed from a E46 convertible and am loving being in a proper sports car again!!

Was having so much fun driving it I didn't have time to take any pics, thought i'd leave it until the sunshine for the bank holiday (hopefully).

Came outside this morning and some SCUMBAG had thrown a rock at it....i'm absoltely gutted!!

Damn it, that sucks. It's never a good thing to happen, but especially for a new car.

Anyway, on the up side, very glad to hear the car's what you wanted and welcome to the forum :thumbsup: What's the spec on the car?

Where abouts are you? Someone might know a decent dent removal firm. I had something similar (but smaller) taken out by a paintless dent removal firm - they drilled a hole in the door about the latch and went in through there... then put in a rubber bung.

Sorry to hear about your car, I don't know why people these days can't respect other people's property.
 
Looks like they tried to break the window on a drive-by and missed. Try the dentless repair, if the paint isn't cracked it should come out clean,

Thanks for the support guys...nice to know there are others out there who feel my pain..I think they are sick of me ranting about it at work!!! lol

My brother in law has a mate who works for one of the Dent 'x' companies so I can try and get him to sort it out (hopefully at mates rates). It's just the fact that I have to go out of my way and spend my hard earned money due to some low life.

Took me a while to find the exact spec I wanted, but really pleased with it.
It'll be back up to full health soon.....just need to find a Garage in East London to keep it safe...any offers??
 
Gutted for you, I can only echo the sentiments of the others, but this kind of thing is starting to happen far to often, hope you manage to get it sorted without to much difficulty.
 
Welcome on board & sorry to hear about the door... Think I'd be more upset about this than if they're got the window!

Talking to the police about mine the other day and apparently car crime is the big thing at the moment, loads of stuff like this happening all over. They took my case really quite seriously, even sent someone round to check the stuff fished out of my GF's car for finger prints! Though they were up front in saying it's very unlikely they'll ever get anyone for it :(

Looks like a lovely car you found there though! Looks like it's got M seats? (are they part of the comfort pack?). Not heard of the pearl Grey leather before, but it sure looks good :thumbsup:
 
Just cannot put into words how you feel about some puerile moron who did that to your car, but I know a man that can :)

OMG not again.

I do feel your pain - if any did that to my car i would get so mad - and as you have just gotten the car too it must really piss you off.

How you get it fixed without too much bother... and i hope karma catches up with the low lifes which did this.

Ok..so it's been a day and i've accepted that my area is full of little sh*ts...and have come up with a solution.
I've decided to rent a space in a secure residents carpark close to me. It was either that or park it at my parents house which is miles away and only use it on the weekends.

I've also decided to get a car cover for it, as don't want them to see it and hurl rocks over the fence (paranoid i know). However I can't see any threads on the forum or any real reviews (from UK companies).
Does anyone have (or can recommend) a cover for the Zed???

They are complete scum, they cannot afford a car like yours so they don't see why you should have one!
