Just got home from 5 months in the Middle East - 36 degrees in the shade when I left and looking forward to the glorious UK summer and of course getting the Zed out. So get of the plane at Manchester - rain, drive across the Pennines – more rain, get up this morning - even more rain. Weather forecast – more rain to come. What’s all that about! So what to do – Mrs J has a list of jobs BUT so do I:

1. Sound box fit
2. Clear side indicators
3. Clear brake light
4. CDV…….

and that’s just for starters. Mrs J started moaning about all the jobs she wanted me to do in the house but told her to get back in the kitchen. :rofl: :thumbsup: :driving:
 
Uh ... move south. We are having a heat wave at the moment with 28c yesterday (which was way too hot).

yes went out on my push bike for some last minute training for the London to Brighton in the afternoon, it was way to hot.
 
Was glorious in Manchester yesterday. Though I fear we now have to pay for that with 4 to 5 months of pouring rain.

Maybe after that we'll get a nice afternoon again.

Was very hot here yesterday has been for a few days but now changing gonna rain most of the week and guarantee it will piss down Friday morn for my run down to the tunnel :cry: :cry:

I've got 28 days to go according her indoors countdown on Facebook and 200ish to Christmas.

I'm already being told what needs painting, planting, cleaning when I'm back, doesn't she realise I've got motorbikes to play with and loads of top down Zed driving to do. Starting to think I'll stay here but its bloody winter at the moment and just starting to get a bit chilly.

Here's an idea, get a shopping list for the jobs MrsJ needs doing and we'll have a look locally and see what's on special offer; am sure I saw a deal on paint brushes... in Henley :driving:
