so , I go into the office of a company I carry out transport for last thursday and get given two corporate sponsor entrance passes to goodwood revival. ring my mate ... Get packed, we are going to goodwood. we bag one of the last 4 available camping pitches and drive up from cornwall. was going to take the M but changed my mind as weather shite. 7am friday n, shuttle bus from campsite to goodwood airdrome and track...... omg we are in car heaven, if you have'nt experienced this event, get there, the car parking fields are a classic car show of the best of everything, .most people dress in period clothing and this makes it a sensory nostalgic journey back in time , from elegant women, air crew ,rockers , wild one type bikers, spivs , demobilised squaddies , a french village, hundreds of trade and food stands of all descriptions, fairground , bonhams sale of classic cars,... 5.3 million alfa romeo, the star lot, ex rod stewart muira, etc etc,. flying displays throughout the day, spitfires, mustang ,kittyhawks hurricane, between vintage car racing of the most exotic ironmongery on the planet, 25million quid 250 gto, versus cobras, vettes, shelby mustangs , am still dazed at what we saw and touched. paid the best 20 quid I ever spent to sit in a mark nine spitfire 1944.hopefully a regular event for us now, a great weekend experience , left tonight as weather awfull on sunday so escaped the mass exodus . absolutely a Must do event.
, ps didnt see a single m coupe, but saw about thirty db5 super legero's, this must make the m VERY RARE....... or not worthy !
