...yes you can fit a 6ft tall christmas tree in the passenger seat with the roof down. Just picked one up from homebase - yes got a few funny looks. But both my partner and I have 2 seaters (she has a 350z - so wouldn't of gone in there).

just in the car - managed to find some fairy lights that would power off the cigarette lighter :P

always wanted to use that one! if its in the house get it back out and recreate the scene for us
 
Someone a while back put a pic up of a tree (can't remember if it was a christmas tree) in their z4.
 
hehe yep i remember this, i started a thread on it as i carried an outside table and 4 chairs in mine with the roof down, all a long way pointing out of my roof and crippling my passenger.
 
Almost as good as a tree...

I ordered hundreds of bits of decking which were delivered by a truck at great expense and there were a few which were damaged - so rather than wait I jumped in the Zee and headed down to the main warehouse to buy some replacements...

I too got odd looks as I drove the 25 miles home on a frosty morning...
