The numbers turned up when I tried to copy and paste the picture - when I click on the add files box, I choose my camera pictures, select the pic, click "select" and then it closes and takes me back here.... Then nada, nothing, zip - I am better with mechanical things, don't like computerybobs

Perhaps the file size is too large for the site to upload

Yep I think that's it - I changed the resolution and used a PC to post it and it's done

I don’t think it’s anything BMW related, could possibly be a plumbing fitting of some kind that has somehow been left in the boot

Could you take it out of the opened bag so we can see it? Could be a valve stem tool or part of a tire plug kit but, again - we'd have to see it clearly.

You cant take it out the bag, it will lose its value :)

I think looking at the black lever scootr is correct
A valve removal tool

Looks like it to me too.
First use it to let all the air out, then use the thinner bit to extract the valve.

Yeah, agree ,looks like a valve removal tool Of r part if a Tyre gauge?

Hey,new Lockdown game,enters page 3.....
Can you tell what it is yet, haha

I thought valve tool, but I'd never seen one with the clip lock, most tyre places just yank the valve rather than deflate.

The bag was actually sealed (although you couldn't see from the first pic in the thread) which makes me think that it hasn't come off something else and it was stuck in the boot cubby which is why I thought it was an original BMW bit (although nothing on the bag and no part number visible)
