hey people will i need to re code anything or re setup alarm to make mirror alarm sensor work?
just trying to eliminate all possible causes atm, still gotta get a new key battery too.

Not sure but normally when you retrofit or upgrade a module it's best to run SSSv32 and retro section, it will ask you the old part no. and then the new one, so it may code the car to sort out alarm.

Sssv32 is be software you can get via eBay with an ODB cable.
See if there us someone on the forum who has it and willing to code your car. Cheaper than going to BMW.
