Didn't realise it was that easy!

Also my iphone whilst plugged in to aux works fine as a hands free, just tested it calling my mate, no need for bluetooth then :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
I found the hardest part of the AUX install was getting the vents out :D

not sure how you iphone is working though :?
 
I thought I was imagining it when my iphone worked with the AUX. Shame I'd just bought a TomTom with Bluetooth! Were the cupholders a doddle to do? Was thinking of doing that myself, not particularly to have cupholders but just to stop the damn things rattling :)
 
I paid £47.77 from the dealer last month, 2 cup-holders, 2 torx screws and 2 of the little black covers for the screw in the heater vent.

Cup holder £20.39
Cap £0.24
Torx £0.14 all x2 + VAT. :)

Vents popped out straight away one side then the other using two small butter knives. The iphone when connected through the head phone socket plays voice though the speakers, the microphone on the phone itself is good enough to pick up voice just sat by the handbrake :D

So you mean you can hear the caller through your speakers, and you speak loud enough for them to hear you? I guess it depends where you have your iphone in the car... if its in the glovebox it might mean shouting a little bit :rofl:
