Just filled up!

Yesterday as I was filling up my company car at the local Shell garage I had a look at the price of V Power as my ///M was down to 1/4 of a tank, £151.6/LT :o

Anyway I thought b*llocks to that on principle, so this morning I have filled up with Tesco Momentum 99 @ £1.39.7/LT, still eye watering but wasn't going to pay the Shell price.

Yeah I nearly had a heart attack the other day on the way back from Alton towers.
Desperate for petrol I pulled into a BP garage. Started putting the ultimate in or whatever they call it.
Then looked at the price £1.559 :O
Nearly dropped the pump. The standard petrol was "only" £1.419 don't know how they can charge 14p more for 97 RON.
Needless to say I didn't fill the tank with that!
 
Momentum for me! Just topped it up for tomorrows early morning hoon over to Yorkshire for Guiseley's fish n' chip Whitby lunch.
 
Yeah I now try to fill up with Tesco whenever I can....

Only problem is that Tesco is a 35 mile round trip from me. Shell is 7 mile round trip. Shell usually gets the business :lol:
 
Super+ near the 'Ring is €1.66 - or about £1.39 at the current exchange rate

Even 102 RON here is a relatively modest €1.71 - or about £1.43 (not for me, for my mate's GTR).
 
filling both my methanol tanks and petrol tank with race gas is a scary experience..... lol im pretty glad use is limited.
