Just driving

Do you use your Z4 mainly to get from A to B, or do you just go out and drive for the sake of it ?

I don't actually need to get to many places by car so more than half the time I am driving just for fun.

I think motorcyclists do this but not sure if car drivers, other than me, do it much.

Probably 1/3 of my mileage is 'for fun' which is quite a lot considering I do 20,000 miles a year just for business

I also got a funny look from the 'speed awareness' course lecturer a few years ago when they asked for reasons people speed - and gave him 'for fun & excitement' answer, while everyone else was going on about being in a rush, overtaking, didn't know the speed limit, etc.

I often go the long way round to maximise the fun of the driving. As an ex-biker I remember just going out for a ride for its own sake

A to B through the week.

A to Z most weekends. It usually starts with a quick run to the shop and lands up me being hundreds of miles from home. It would be rude not to.

Mostly for A to B. But I don't mind taking a detour.
If the sun is out I might choose to go for a drive just for the fun, but I usually mix it with something practical. :D

I mainly use mine to get from A to B, which I do a lot of, but since I've had the Zed I try to take more interesting routes :D

Only had my Zed for three weeks now so may only be a fad, but I find myself going for a drive down local country lanes most days when I'm not working.

All of the above - great fun as a transport from a-b when needed but even greater fun just enjoying the drive especially with the top down. Shame Coupe drivers can't enjoy the same experience.....

I'm an 'ex-biker' so just going out for the fun of it and for no practical reason just comes naturally :D
Like others on the forum I do a high annual mileage for work, but when I get home the rep-mobile is parked up and out comes the Z with the top down......no excuse needed.

i drive a bus during the week, oh no sorry - its a mondeo, i drive the zed for fun only

X2

I tend to only use it to get me from A to B.... but maybe once a month i go for a random drive through the country side (but only if the weather outside is nice  )

Generally to get from A - B. But it does make A - B more fun. But sometimes I might go the long way, and I do like a random drive sometimes.

I've only had mine a month, but I've found myself setting my alarm clock 1 hour earlier than I need to get up for work so I can get out in the Zed for a 5am blast. Sod the expense. It puts me in the right frame of mind for a days graft on the building site !

Ha ha ha that is brilliant.. :driving:

Like others mine is A-B with the fun part thrown in whenever its convenient (and sunny).

Mainly A to B, but very occaisionally just for the fun of it, every drive bar one (it was raining) since I got back on Sunday has been with roof down and I'm loving it.

That said I took the bike out for a bimble today and realised that I should have taken the Zed to the stealer first thing to get the emissions warning light looked at that came on the other day, oooop's. Going tomorrow now.
