Stratstones recommended by my insurance company, inc whole new wing. £1980
Now Stratstones work on high end cars so it's going there, but it makes you wonder why insurance is so expensive.
I've just got my car home tonight to find they have broke my drivers side window, it won't go up or down and there is a grinding noise inside the door.
To say I'm raging is an understatement, I think it's the regulator thats gone, but it was perfectly fine when it went into the bodyshop.
It's the drivers side which was away from the damage, I phoned the garage when I got home to complain and they have told me to take it back in to be checked. All happens when you start nightshit tonight.
I had to change my garage doors when I got my Dax (Cobra replica), they were ridiculous up and overs with a remote control. I got them replaced with standard opening doors (hand jobs, if you'll pardon the expression 8) ) and gained about 12" width to the opening.
Well worth the effort, and especially now I'm getting the Z4. Not sure about the cost though ! :?
Nothing in my garage except the Zed. Tight squeeze but I know exactly how far accross to park it. Mirrors just pass the posts and a cushion on the wall opposite the driver's door.
Feel for you over the car, nothing worse than ettting one thing fixed then finding they've knackered something else. Wouldn't be suprised if they deny all responsibility as well.
