So, 5 months in, and I am still loving the Z4 !, just coming up for a service at 80,000 ish - and it hasn't missed a beat. - the straight six is so smooth, and the whole car is so well put together. The last owner had really looked after it , so there is nothing really to do on it, just enljoy driving it (with the roof down as much as possible !) to do . might re-do the alloys i n a dark grey that would set off the Maldives Blue bodywork. The z4 was the work of Anders Warming according to Wikipedia, and the 1-Series was by Christopher Chapman, but I guess they were following Chris Bangles design book.
