Just Bought This.

Hello and welcome,

camp david would have been a much better forum name, but go on and explain why you chose Charlie Croker :D

Welcome along....you must have shot a lot of tigers to afford that

My personal favourite ....

It's a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team. And that means you do everything I say.

Hi Charlie,
to answer your question about the hood. Do not use wash wax on it like rest of car it will bleach it. Only use water and there are kits from the likes of Autoglym and Meguires that will clean and reproof it. Enjoy your purchase. :driving:

Cheers, much appreciate the advice :-)

Welcome along, nice standard car! The only thing I'd 10000% change would be to fit a ZHP gearknob, the shorter weighted knob makes a real difference.

Welcome along Charlie great looking car. Fantastic colour I have to agree with Jonny

Don't follow the heard get a certain monkeys short heavy gear knob if you want one

I understand leaving it standard I said the same!!!

Had mine for over 9 years, all original including the aerial. Think I will keep it the same since I like classic styles.

Most of the mods we do are discrete and reversible. I'm not doing anything to mine that I can't undo.

Awesome car, all the peer pressure here to change things now makes me want to keep it stock even more and after seeing yours I will do the same, will keep the aerial standard.

If you are going to go down the modification route, then you have the right idea, keep it simple and revisable. However on the flip side it seems to me an unmolested car stands much further out from the crowd these days than a modified car?

Would agree, but try to get in someone's car with the gearknob, the standard one is far too long for how low the arm rest is, not to mention the weighted element really makes changing better.
