Just bought some Recaro CS seats for £300

Saw some VXR Recaros on ebay about an hour ago, full leather, good condition, £300 buy it now.

Bought them, bargain I thought, may take some fettling to get them to fit nicely, but if it doesn't work then I can always flog them on for a healthy profit.

Then come the messages asking me to pay via family and friends to avoid paypal fees, or bank transfer. I refused saying it was cash on collection or by the normal paypal route only.

Transaction cancelled :x :lol:

Ah well, too good to be true I guess.

Have you thought about fitting some RX8 or M3 seats a few people on here have fitted them in their Z's

Tried but ebay make things so difficult and wasn't able to include any details about why I was reporting it, just the crappy click options which didn't include the reason I was reporting it.

I haven't responded to the transaction cancelation though, so they can't be re-listed quite as easily.

Yeah, but these were less than half what they are worth and an awesome seat, so was willing to take a punt and see if they could be made to fit.
Considering the E46 M3 seats, but they are heavy as fook and won't suit the car all that well.
Also the option of the M sport seats, but they are very thin on the ground and very expensive. Been looking for a few weeks now and only seen 1 set, black and yellow and they were £700iirc. They didn't sell but haven't been re listed.

Also thinking of some Corbeau NFX which is currently at the top of my list

I do like those seats though, and they are electric, wonder if heated?

Picked up these today instead. Shame it is raining all day, would like to sit them in the car to see what fitting is going to be like.

They are S2000 seats. Had to make the 334 mile round trip to collect them this morning, which took less than 5 hours driving so wasn't too bad.

No guide, going to make it up as I go along. Will take a few photos as I go and put up a thread once done

Made a start around 3ish and have been at it since. So far I have cut the existing mounting points off the runners of the drivers seat and been mocking up how they are going to sit using blocks of wood. There has been lots of pondering as to the best way to fit them.
About to go and make a list of bolts, box section etc that I need.
 
Not heated, although there are heated versions, which are fairly rare, but you can swap the heater element out of the existing seats.

Picked these up for £150.
