Just bought a Z4 and need some advice please...

Hi all,

Just pulled the trigger on a Z4 from my local dealer after reading some very useful advice on this forum. It's a very tidy '07 2.0i se with 30K on the clock, silver grey, black leather, 17"s, comfort pack and a few other bits and bobs.

Now, I need to shop for a chrome tailpiece, luggage rack, ipod dock, satnav & runflat replacements.... have I missed anything? Any advice on where to go for that lot much appreciated!

Hello and welcome mate, try www.c3bmw.co.uk for the tailpipe & luggage rack,

try Ebay for the ipod dock , and for the tyres try www.camskill.co.uk and get them fitted @ a local garage

*actually, you might do for a second or two if you ever have cause to remove the central air vents.
 
Having just removed my centre vents tonight , they are a b*tch to move and being impatient - ive gnarled up the trim & vents in the process :( carbon wrapping me thinks :thumbsup:

Hi & welcome,nice looking car.are you sure about the wheel size?as the ones in the photo are 107's and they are 17".With regards to modifications,I'd strongly advise the M sport steering wheel ;)

Are you talking about the boot rails that can take the rack or hard case?

I think you can only get the OEM one.

I have the boot rails and rack. although not the hard case. i think i am the only one round here with it. was fitted when i got it. not sure on prices.

Never needed to use it so probably wouldnt bother if i were you. plus i think if you had anything on it youd totally block any rear view.

Thanks Jamie. I'll ask the dealer if they were retro fitted. I quite like the wheels, so not bothered....unless I should be?!

Thanks for the tip. I'll see how I get on with the boot size. Several week long trips to Europe in the next 18months so it'll be interesting to see what I can get in.

disagree on wheel code.... they are 17", but design no 103 not 107...

nice car though :D
