Just bought a new Z4

Evening All,

thanks for your kind welcome...had a good drive this morning, very enjoyable, no chips were consumed, far too early for that sort of thing... :)

Gave it a wash on my return..see pictures...

And Brutus?! Qu'est-ce que c'est....?

Edited to add...New wheels due on wednesday, 19" CSL reps..should look good for the summer.

Cheers

James

Looking nice and clean James... Seems so weird seeing it parked on someone elses driveway :(

Glad you enjoyed your trip to the coast. You picked a good day for it with the weather

The car will look great with the CSL's on. Make sure you post some pictures up for us all to see!

And yes Brutus.. It's a very befitting name I think.. Well better then Ken, or Jeff, or Barry

Does anyone know if 4 wheels will fit in a Z4 coupe boot?! Suppose there's the passenger seat....not an option i'm keen on...

thanks

I had two tyres with no rims in the boot once and that was a struggle. Used the fiancées mini and got 4 in there but was a tight squeeze.

As for using the passenger seat... :telloff:

:D

JaEdBa, welcome, you got a great car there - but then you know that already :D

(darn it, I really wanted those M wheels...)

JDM will hopefully stop acting like the Father of the Bride when he gets his new e89

Can't believe he de-stubby'd it though

Doubt there would be room for 4 wheels :(

Haha, sorry I can't just switch off my love for the car over night

I will get better, I promise!!

As for the stubby, it was the fiancée who wanted it for the mini.

James, if you are wondering what a "stubby" is, its a shorter aerial which is looked upon as a tattoo to members of this forum. It is not to everyones taste though so not everyone has them. Some prefer the OEM "whip" look.

As promised, pictures of new wheels fitted...

photo quality not brilliant...and it could do with a clean...

Looking great James. I love how the car looks so different with the different sets of wheels. When I had the car the wheels divided opinion. People either loved the summer look and hated the winter look or vica versa. Personally I loved both looks and it just spices it up a bit being able to have differnet looks

Good job mate
