That usually indicates a fault. Use the check control to find out if its stored any errors or codes would be my suggestion. Cruise deactivates if it feels there's something wrong with the engine or ABS etc.
Its all working fine. I think that there must be a sensor to monitor if the situation is not appropriate for cruise. Went over a big join in the road at 70. Car bounced a little and got the message. Wonder if you can trigger it on a very winding road?
i have had that before, and on twisty roads, if the DSC is activated for any reason then the Cruise is deactivated. Going over a big bump will have likely triggered the DSC. Nothing to worry about
