Been on the continent for a few days so got back today. Saw the most devious speed trap in Belgium though - a very long lead from the trap to the car parked a long way away and not visible from the motorway. The trap itself hidden behind a road sign - nothing visible.


The only reason I saw it as it was flashing continuously for every car passing it.

At least it is just money over there, just like in NL where they caught 2 million drivers on a single road in a few weeks :)

Oh - did you all miss me :P

They dont, it doesnt count over here. Only time it affects you is if they pull you over and fine you there and then.

The road to Veurne from Calais direction, completely empty as it always is and the camera was hidden behind the sign with the chevrons where you go off to one of those car parks off the motorway.

Small tripod affair with a long lead running out of sight to the car park where the police car / van no doubt would be. Shooting fish in a barrel.
