Within 20seconds of driving off, i noticed the view in my mirror was 'bouncy' so pulled over, window down, touched it and was held on by a thread! A little pull and its off. Luckily it didnt do this while driving, as others have had and scratch body work, not to mention break the glass.
So, do i use numberplate tape or expoxy type stuff to put it back on? As they're heated, i dont want the heat to affect them and come loose again. I have some bonding no more nails stuff i used to bond the headlights...?
This 'backer' isnt solid, if you poke it, it flexes, should i try to remove this first? Whats behind, how does the mirror glass usually afix?
Thanks
