Hi members of Z4-forum. Looks like this is where I'm supposed to make myself known to people on the forum and say a little about myself;
I am already a very active member of Pistonheads and have strayed over here from time to time for a little helpful ownership info on my car. I have owned my '07 BMW Z4 M Roadster since April this year, bought at 23k miles it has now done nearly 29k miles. It's in the very rare 'Carbon Black' individual colour with red leather interior and I absolutely love it. I said I would never buy another car in black since my first car (a black '07 Renault Clio 1.2 Rip Curl) because it is so hard to keep black cars clean... but then I saw it... and now I have a black car.
As you may have noticed - I am fairly impulsive and don't really consider the future any further than what I am having for breakfast the following morning (egg and bacon sandwich ftw... yumm
)
I have never liked BMW's (waaaaiiitt....), but I found that the Z4 M Roadster is the best thing you can buy in the way of 2 seater convertibles that can do 0-60 in 5 seconds without;
a) losing shed-loads in depreciation
b) everyone thinking you are starting to like 'men', and
c) spending a fortune on buying the thing in the first place - I noticed that to get anything better than the Z4 M, you had to spend at least an extra £6000 - and I'd rather put that towards the house thanks!
My only problem now is that I can't find anything better!
I would be keen to get involved with a few of the forum's meets and events around the Surrey area whenever possible and if anyone is organising anything not publicly posted, please let me know.
