Joshua /uysk thoughts

just watched it the now, can't say Im surprised, I love AJ but he just has something lacking in his game which I believe is a granite jaw, i think he was surprised by Uysks power and as soon as he felt it he decided he was going to try and box him and that was a mistake, Uysk is no Andy Ruiz, he's probably the best technical heavyweight of this era, AJ should have let his big shots go more and used his size advantage, real shame but almost predictable

AJ is an average fighter - always flatters to deceive. Uysk deserved that and will likely win the rematch.

I think average is a little harsh, you dont make olympic gold at amatuer then go on to be world champion being average he's really a very good fighter that doesn't quite have all the assets to go on to be one of the greats

He is undoubtedly an average fighter, he does not have the skill set to compete with the likes of uysk /fury. Big shame last night as I was looking forward to a fury fight ( as long as he beats wilder)

Kin ell.. "undoubtedly average" what is it you have to do do to be above average nowadays? is olympic gold and two time world champion not good enough to be above average even if you are not the best in the division.. talk about shitting on someones achievements :x what about fighters that might only win say British or European title? Are those achievements and the work put in worthy only of being marked down as "below average"?

You have to turn up to fight, he didn’t for a few reasons only he knows. By his own admission he had improved since Ruiz, it wasn’t on show last night unfortunately. To be above average , you are a world champion, I’ve only ever seen flashes of his supposed brilliance, I hope he does improve, the many doubters are being proved right.

Erm, he was a world champion-surely that makes him above average according to your logic? :?

We naturally all have our own opinions, that’s the great thing about a discussion, he was world champ, but in the current crop of world class heavy weights he always appears average. we will see how he comes back.

Im sure when he looks at his Olympic gold medal and then his bank balance he must think to himself.. Im bang average me.. done fck all with my life

Indeed your right, I certainly wish I was a pound behind him, but that’s not my point at all. But hey well done to uysk great fight .

Indeed.. all said and done it was a good watch and Uysk showed his quality, i hope AJ shows up for the rematch and unloads next time around
