Jordanian Pilot

Unfortunately air strikes alone will never solve the problem. Somebody's boots have to go in for sure, I just get angry when America and us take the initiave to try to do something about it and then get pilloried if it goes Pete Tong. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Time to let the Arab 'Brothers' sort it out methinks. So Jordan have finally woken up, let's see what the rest of you can do then.

Agree but it just isn't going to happen - these countries see these events through the lens of their own society - and when you have such barbaric routine practices going on in countries who are best equipped to do something - like Saudi you wonder just how upset they get at ISIS behaviours - possibly just a little irritated ? and not much more

Jordan is a little different - but they have been used as a political pawn by the west for years and still are - they are walking a tightrope domestically - but they are engaged in a bigger way right now than any other Middle East country

Seems to be a common position from muslims worldwide if the reactions from muslims in Europe is anything to go by. Excessive - yes, the concept / principle - no comment.

I think the last thing is for the UK/Europe or the USA sending in forces again into any Arab countries, save the boots for NATO, we may be needing them sooner or later. Yes there will be further terrorist incidents across Europe but concentration should be focussed on increased anti terror intelligence and immigration.

Tim.

Maybe we could ask the Dutch to help us out for a change? :poke:

Give us a chance, we have to invade Russia first for shooting down that plane :?

I talked to members of the Dutch army in Arnhem last year - the Nco I spoke to were all very much aware of the potential problems that exist at home ie Western Europe.

His comment "The world is on fire"

My pants are on fire but we could still do with some help with making tea and collecting the newspapers :D
