OK, so when I got the car a few months ago it has a switch that works The fans turns them on and off. It’s the only thing I can tell that’s not the way it should be but sometimes things work sometimes they don’t work for example the radio the top all that stuff operated by buttons works when it wants to I guess it’s on its own time. But my main issue is that ,especially after I’ve been driving it, when I start it it starts up and then about two seconds later, it dies. sometimes it doesn’t start and I just have to wait. It’s a really weird situation Once it’s running it runs fine just starts and dies immediately almost every time, but especially if it’s been driven.

Could be any number of things, but the first thing I would try is pull out and thoroughly clean the camshaft position sensors and also the cavities they are located in. I had a similar problem (engine catches on starting but instantly dies) and this sorted it out.

If you have intermittent start/none start issues coupled with strange dash light behaviour I would check the engine and gearbox earth straps for correct fitment/damage/loose fitting/corrosion etc as they could bith cause the issues you are having.

Have you scanned the car for fault codes, it may have set some that will point you in the right direction.
Camshaft sensor or crank sensors might be your problem but be aware they don't always set codes when they start to fail.
