Hi everyone,

After a couple of months of scouring these forums with nothing but jealousy, I decided to take the plunge and join the club. I graduated from my previous 1.6 litre Golf to a lovely Deep Sea Blue 35i. Looking forward to any meet-ups that happen around Central London, and glad to be joining the community :)

In the meantime, here's a couple of shots of my new best friend:

Thanks!

Yep, and some of them have someone that can't get my name right

Hi and Welcome. Very fine looking Zed. Who's that hiding behind you in the first pic? :?

MrPittts shame on you.

Welcome, very nice looking Zed you have there.

300bhp will be some jump up from a 1.6 Golf

Thanks everyone!

The wheels have been proving themselves to be an absolute pain in the arse to keep clean but I reckon they're worth it [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

I did expect a bit of E89 backlash coming here but having just done a 400 mile motorway stint, I couldn't be happier with how well it settles down when it needs to.

Nonsense Mal it's a Z4 et al... you'll get some good natured banter from folks. There are one or two chops, but it won't take you long to work out who they are mate.

Enjoy the car

Of course!

I'm hoping to try out one of the M roadsters at some point, they do sound like they are quite the machine...

Indeed they are, but then again the whole range is, & the main reason why we purchase them :)

Welcome along. I love the E89 in deep sea blue
You've got to love the banter. We got given a tin opener shortly after buying my coupe [emoji6]

I do feel as though the convertible has ruined me for life, not sure I could ever go for a coupé now!

The sound is so glorious with the roof down, too...
