 High Peak,Derbyshire.
One of my other interests is renovating classic tractors with a couple of friends.

One of my old friends Mike Fishwick has renovated his Dads little grey 1954 Ferguson T20 and is doing the lands end to John o Groats run to try and raise some money for Alzheimers Research, the awful disease of which caused his old fella pass away around 6 years ago..Mike is a brilliant chap, fantastic engineer and a true character..

Here are the pics i put up a while ago when the Fergie was on its first run out after renovation..

So guys/gals im on the cadge for a few quid sponsor money...... He has bankrolled the trip/accommodation/restoration and if you could give the price of a pint or fag money it would be wonderful........All money raised will go stright to the Alzheimers society

Here is the the just giving page that has been set up and also there is a bit more info on there about what he is doing and a daily blog of what and where he is in the UK..

i realise its a bit of an ask....But i think a pensioner to do this trip unsupported is a great thing and a massive undertaking..

More power to him i say..

He has had a couple of minutes "fame" on the local news on STV last night and also got a mention on the Chris Evans breakfast show..

What route is he taking through Cornwall. Might be driving past our house. 8)

PS. Did LE to JO on a push bike, about 35 years ago.

Have a look on the website...

There is a full list of where he will be and on what days, see if he is close to where you are.

How long did it take on a bike ?
