Am i the only one that Sopers never reply to... I've sent them 3 different email asking about prices for certain parts and i never got a reply back.... :(
They're pretty terrible with replies to emails in my experience.

What's with the pricing bump?!

I just phoned Joe for an up-to-date price for MFSW. £460 now!

I think I might have to go down the eBay.de route - has anyone else had any joy with this way? I'm not too keen to start buying things off of eBay. I do notice that a couple of the sellers have their own websites as weLl.

Hi Jimmy,

After the price hike I got from Joe for the wheel, I did the same and looked on ebay.de. I actually ordered from this exact seller... http://cgi.ebay.de/BMW-Z4-M-Lenkrad...le_Zubehör&hash=item5198476f60#ht_2258wt_1139

Service was excellent, seller replied really quickly to my questions and the delivery time was spot on. I place the order on Tuesday afternoon last week, it was dispatched same day via UPS and arrived at about 10.45am on Friday morning!! I couldn't have asked for better service really!!

I would definitely recommend that seller! I just need to find half an hour to fit it as I was away all weekend!! Doh!!

Dave,

I paid 25 euros postage.

Also, he can supply the additional wiring if you need it, for 10 euros. I ordered it just incase, so he charged me 349 euros for the wheel, plus 35 euros postage (He sent me a new invoice for the wheel and postage with the wiring cost included in the postage.... if that makes sense!)

Cheers,
Stuart

I'm glad to hear that skillick - I've had that seller on my watch list for the past few days. I'm going to bite the bullet and order it I think!

Hopefully will have it fitted for the Oban run this weekend

EDIT: I actually phoned Douglas Park Hamilton BMW and they were charging £440 for the wheel - I wonder if Sopers aren't able to keep up with the prices nowadays.

Right, ordered one of the wheels plus harness. Despite my car being a late 2005, it doesn't seem to have the wiring in place. All in, including P&P it's working out as £347.50 - not bad compared to Sopers and other UK Dealers!

Only problem is my credit card company has blocked the transaction! Currently on the phone to them sorting it out. :headbang:

EDIT: a11y, i response to your comment, I think I've spent quite a bit on the car in the last month. The problem is that the MFSW is only going to get more expensive, so I'd rather just bite the bullet and buy it now. I'm already kicking myself I didn't buy one last year when it was much cheaper.

It is crazy how the price of the MFSW's has continually risen week on week. If it's any consolation, the price of the tri-colours have gone down. It seems someone has spotted the "loophole" in the pricing structure and tried to close it...

I am seriously considering buying a non tri-coloured one from Germany too. Tri-colour stitching for £200 more can't be worth it... can it?

TBH, I can't justify paying more to have the tri-colour one in my car,how often do you look at the stitching and say to your self, they are worth £200 more than the standard one!answer is never :poke:

navid.v - you must be one of the most helpful forumites around! Good job you're talking sense to me, otherwise I would have to explain a £200 extra shortfall in the savings account. Now I just need to justify a mere £350 shortfall in the savings account... :)

lol,no mate I am just tight  unless the tri-colour has got something special that I don't know of,I'd say just get the black one

I marvel in the magnificence of my Tri Colour M MFSW every time I climb into my Z, especially as I only paid about £150 for it :D

Tri colour is nice but weigh it up against standard, I bought second hand tri colour and wouldn't take a brand new mfsw standard + £100 for it. Might be a lot to do with the chrome spokes looking better than the black though!

Anybody have an updated Sopers price list? This ones from 2011 and the legend that was Joe of Sopers.

I believe they have set discounts for different BMW OEM items. I got quoted for a couple of items recently, one had 10% discount, the other had 20% discount. Easier to just ring Jamie or Mark.

Thanks Lilywhite.

Another point is that Sopers prices are inclusive of delivery so probably that's the reason why you get a smaller forum discount for heavier items.
