can anyone recommend any decent scientific job agencies either local or national i don't mind.

Ive come to the end of my postdoc and need to move on away from here and the network of people i know are coming up with nothing so its out to the agents. i know of some but it would be good to see what else is recommended.

basic history is degree/phd physics seval years postdoc developing a novel chromatography system and a point of care test for sepsis in whole blood samples (it works and cost 340K of nhs money and will never see active service or be commercialised). also worked out industry for a bit too with thermo fisher

Don't know where you're based, but I'm contracting at the GSK in Brentford (HQ, not an R&D site) on a Child Resistance project and they regularly have candidate assessment weeks here - although at this level it's usually graduates rather than post-docs.

As a post-doc, you'd probably be better using/searching the GSK careers page at http://www.gsk.com/uk/careers.
