What difference would it make? The person is accused , tried and either convicted or not, not the estate. You can't try anyone after they're dead.

You can sue their estate. It was being discussed by some legal beagle on Radio 4
 
To be fair if you've been tea bagged by some wrinkly old sack whilst lying in a hospital bed with brain damage you probably deserve a couple of quid for your troubles.
 
I must have been an ugly kid .
I regularly used to wave to Jimmy Saville on my way to school in Scarborough in the 60's and he never so much as offered me any sweets

I suppose you could try suing in Civil court but I'm sure it would be a bit difficult considering there was no criminal conviction and the accused (originator of the estate) is deceased.

Maybe people will stop keeping their mouths shut and nail these a**holes while they are still alive in future... :evil:
