For this little piece of plastic??

Clips into the edge of the front wing ahead of the wheel, and retains the edge of the bumper - Mine is fractured so the bumper edge doesn't sit 100%..

Retail is just under £30 with the VAT.....

THAT is taking the pee, works out around £7.50 per cm of it's length...

Anyone got an OS one lying around that I can buy??

They are an expensive bit of plastic and prone to breaking. Also very hard to remove without breaking.

Tell me about it! Mine has been broken since I got the car, but having had the bumper off yesterday it's annoying me, it's only the little tab that holds it up to the wing, so might see if I can plastic weld it, assuming it's still all there..

Ah well, prob gonna have to remove the bumper again anyway, as can't work out the adjusters on my new headlights, foolishly didn't take a pic before fitting them.

Wouldn't mind, but am sure the two wings I sold recently had them on, never gave it a thought.

I found superglue won't work but JML do a glue that's actually a liquid plastic that sets with a UV light and it works brilliantly.

Yeah I had to change O/S on mine when I bought it... was shocked by the price but there wasn't a great deal left to glue back together! And a complete pig to change if the snapped part is still stuck in your wing

I changed mine on the M coupe, they are an arse to get the bumper off and not break the clips..

Are the £18 or £28,it was ages ago when i did mine..

If its just the locating tab that's broke how about drilling a small hole through the bracket and into the bottom of the wing and using a self tapper to hold it in place

That's exactly what I did, and it worked a treat. I would argue it's even stronger than before ! But then part of me thinks it was designed to break in the event of a light bump to allow the bumper to move and not bend the wing.

No need to shout.
I doubt it put you could also put a bit of touch up paint on both sides to prevent it

I just bought both sides from BMW auto parts for £49 delivered. Still expensive.

£39.50 each here. That's because I have to pay the 'delivery to the other side of the world' tax... :headbang: . I swear they must think they're going to fall off the edge of the world when shipping, so charge accordingly....
I had to replace both sides as one broke while removing the bumper, and the other was already broken.
