Jenson's Final F1 Race your thoughts

I read Jenson Button, has made decision to retire from F1, after this weekends Race in AbuDhabi. So no come back in 2018. :(

The right decision in my humble opinion. Even if Honda & Mclaren could put the best car under him, there are younger guns out there now. :thumbsup:
 
He would make a brilliant addition to Top Gear - was very good in that one episode in the last series ...
 
A genuine nice chap all round...

I like him and has always been a decent racer,marred by crap cars latterly.

Hope he gets screen time whatever he does.
 
Sad that he is retiring and has had such a poor car for the last few years. Always seemed like a top bloke. The year he won his championship with Brawn was great.
 
With a top car he would still win GPs but anit gonna happen now, so farewell Jensen one of the best drivers of his generation, especially in the wet.
 
Bet Hamilton is kicking himself for being such an arse to him, as being Jensons last race I'm sure he would relish a nice wheel to wheel battle with Rosberg ;)
 
A true great and a gent- such a shame he didn't finish but it is clear he is happy with his decision to stop.
 
He should have retired ages ago as he had lost the hunger to challenge for the front,Alonso out performed him in the same car most of the time.He comes across as a decent person .
 
Well there was one indiscretion in the JB interview with DC and MW about rally-cross when he got reminded he was on C4 live - but if those 3 did do that, for me it would be fantastic - potentially better than F1!

Fingers-crossed. :lol:
 
A big loss to the sport (as was Mark Webber a couple of seasons ago). A character and an ambassador.

Great that he won a title too.
