jenny chem sent some for testing so.... thats what im doing.... This is listed as ceramic and wax safe but its that strong, im not sure thats possible... The van wasnt washed for 3 months and this removed easily 70% of the grime... Ceramics were still beeding fine after the product was used. Some longer testing is required .
Im sure many will see TFR and run for the hills! lol.
Hmmm :? TFRs were always alkaline based (sodium hydroxide) in years gone by. Back in the 80s/90s we used to prespray engine bays/under bonnets, door shuts, wheel arches, lower body panels etc prior to steam cleaning....no agitation required ! TBH as long as you watched the dilution and rinsed it well without letting it dry we never had a problem. Modern ceramics are possibly quite resistant but I doubt many waxes or dressings are.
I tried some Carspunk Snow Foam a couple of years back, the best I've ever used...it shifted muck superbly. However, it definitely contained a reasonable amount of alkaline detergent. You can tell by the distinctive smell and the super slippy feel of a few neat drops on your finger tips.
