Jay's Z4 Project :: Updated & Pic Heavy ::

On a brighter note again...........
That looks excellent.
Yours is an awesome colour too.
I'd never really considered before but perhaps that's because I didn't see many when I was looking.
Is it a rare colour do you think?

It's Montego blue. I don't know how common it is I've seen a few on here since I got it but beforehand I was used to seeing them in mainly silver and black, which are great too but I thought the blue was a bit different. I haven't seen another one in the same colour around my area.

You'll certainly not see another like yours anywhere!
In a good way I mean!

Haha cheers I think you're right. I'm going to be stuck for a hobby though now, I've ran out of things to do to it. I'll have to resort to just driving the thing

do like that spoiler more and the diffuser works better too!

now just needs some wheels to finish it off :)

Happy to swap cars with you for 6 months.
Save you getting bored!

Yeah wheels would be the final piece I was looking at some earlier on but I'm going to have to save up now before I can them. Saw some awesome CSL's but for now they must remain a dream

Haha dont tempt me!

I'm not a big fan of carbon fibre add-ons, but that rear spoiler does look better than the factory one IMHO...

Thanks, I don't usually like carbon fibre unless it's done right. There is so much tat out there pretending to be something it isn't. There will be many who think the same about what I've done I'm sure, let's face it it's all cosmetic rather than functional, but I've tried not to cross the boundary between tasteful and tacky by my own personal taste.

Who do you have your insurance with that is cool with all the mods?

What's your sort code and bank account number?
No need to be a tool, I was genuinely asking as I struggle to find one who accepts more than a few.

However, it's apparent from your reply that you declare tiddly squat so you may well be effectively uninsured. For example a spoiler is right up there for mods that have an additional premium.

Not my problem of course but 'jus sayin'.

If you weren't being a tool yourself then I apologise and I read your intentions wrongly. I thought it strange that you would ask the question to me personally without asking everybody else with a spoiler / wheels / skirts etc. etc. etc. Again, I took it with insideous intentions and replied with another question that one shouldn't expect to answer. Plus I felt you had a chip on your shoulder from previous banter and the 'jus sayin', so 2+2 and all that. Anyway, sorry.

To answer the question, everything I do to my car is declared as should be and is covered under company policy, my dad's company to be specific.

Had you read the first page you would know that I currently have problems of my own, and had I not been covered for anything, which I am, it would be largely irrelevant as I'm currently unable to work, rarely able to get out and the car very very rarely gets off the drive.

I do this as a hobby dude, don't sap all the fun out of it. I'm not the only one who took your question a touch invasive so I'm sure you can understand, but to insinuate and assume from that is a bit rude. I simply don't want to go into my circumstances with a dude I don't know on the internet.

I'm not into having bad blood with anyone and would rather put it down to a misunderstanding between two decent guy's who don't know one another and leave it at that. Peace

Apologies likewise, that's the trouble with written word with no audible tone. To be fair you've done a good job so I'm glad you enjoy it.

Glad that's sorted, I've only just got used to all these emoji things to try and convey expression :D I still don't think I've quite got the hang of them. :slaphead:

Thanks for the complement, I'm quite proud of it now.
(And I was being a bit of a tool to be fair)

You've done a lot of hard work and the car looks sweet. Where did you source ur front splitter?

Thanks the front splitter is from schmiedmann.com, I think it's taken from a design in the US called the m'stache.

I wish I had the time and talent to carry out all those mods, great respect to you dude! Superb effort, awesome results!

I especially like the front of the car, I tried to swap out a front number on my very first car (a clip) but i never got it to fit and decided to never attempt that mod again. Now I'm thinking again.... the M bumper brings a totally different character to the car

Thank's mate :D

The M bumper makes a huge difference and it's not that difficult to do, you just need all the bits and bobs which soon mount up, and they ended up costing a lot more than I wanted to spend on top of the bumper itself. I got the bumper fairly cheap off ebay, it needed a bit of work to tidy it up, but all in all I think it was worth it in the end.
