Trouble for me is I watched car programs because I loved cars and motorcycles from a very young age .
Once Top gear became like a comic strip it bored the arse off me but obviously appeals to a wider audience who need to be “ entertained”.
Sames happening on you tube , what started as interesting content to me just ends up being childish nonsense.

Watch the odd review he does, he’s knowledgeable about the car industry for sure, but I can give or take his reviews. What is bloody annoying is he’s started to pronounce every single letter in a word, nothing wrong with speaking correctly, all for it, but so over emphasises it it’s borderline weird.

I noticed the very same pronouncing every letter, he's always been a bot that way but now is even worse so don't really watch him anymore

I am SO glad to see this written down somewhere! I was subscribed to him for years, but I cannot abide the way he started altering his speech. I had to unsubscribe and can't bear to watch any more of his content. It's a shame really, because his honesty and knowledge was quite unique in that corner of YouTube!

Disagree with the "trust fund" comment. Sounds like a chip on a shoulder there. People make money in different ways to the way they did 20+ years ago, and making car videos is one of those ways. More power to people who can use modern tools to give them independence and earn money following their own passions instead of obeying orders from someone else.

Having watched a lot of car reviews in my life, I have to say that most things they say about any car should not be taken seriously.

Throttle house guys -> Electric steering on E85 Z4 is actually great
Jayemm -> Electric steering is s**t
Some other British youtube pov guy -> Steering is great

And that goes for other cars as well.

Engine wise, honestly it does not matter to me. It is nice to have power, but I'd rather settle with a great handling and sorted 2.2 than bad example with 3.0 power and s**t handling.
