Awesome find, the noise!!! Jay is living the dream. im off to california this summer so might give mullholland drive a run, as i was planning on getting a hire car for LA as everythign is so spread out, maybe a mustang ?....

I don't know if you've ever driven a Mustang before but you'll like the power, probably won't like the handling much though. The rental agencies like to rent the new Camaro's and the Mustang ragtops so you should try them both if you can. I drove a Mustang on the north side of Maui on en extremely twisty road and wasn't happy. Also, bear in mind that you probably won't find a Shelby to rent unless you have a large credit limit on your VISA card :lol:

If you happen to be in Calif. at the beginning of September, the Z-Fest is on just north of LA. :D

Thanks for the tips, i wasnt planning of giving the selected car a road test, just a good thrashing. My boss got a shelby mustang to drive across california in black with a gold stripe down it, bonnet pins etc etc, i couldnt believe it, it looked awesome. Just doing some searching now on finding a decent car.
 
Hence the saying " Drive it like a Rental Car". :lol:

Make sure you have insurance coverage.... :D

Saw one of these in the showroom last week, on first look I wasn't that impressed to be honest. £160k :idunno:

Just didn't look that special over and above an SL63, although it is meant to be a great drivers car.
 
Only seen one of them on the road, haven't been that impressed with the pictures, but on the road as it went past me, it looked great :D
