Jay Kay' M3 for sale

Jay Kay (from Jamiroquai) is selling his E30 M3. I'd love to own one of thee at some point but they're so expensive and a decent one is hard to find.

If I had a spare £40k I'd be tempted though.

They are lush, how much would one cost if not owned by JK? :?

They usually fetch around 30-35k,in pristine condition..a guy in the BMW carclub near Glasgow has a lovely Black one/lovely cars, but I too would spend the cash on something else. A decent/early Ferrari 360modena can be had for not much more than this kind of £ :driving:

Thanks Craig, so its not too out of the way money wise if someone's in the market, however there are plenty of great cars to consider for £40K :driving:

Id want it for less off him :?
the guy's a full scale kn0bj0ckey & his banal music irritates me to the point of relieving myself of my own ears in a Van Gogh fashion

Prices do vary alot for these & a really good one is only going to appreciate I reckon, it looks a tidy one from the photos aswell, I won't be trading my V8 for a four pot anytime soon though! :driving:

Must say I'm quite a fan actually, the first 2 albums were great. After that they went quickly downhill sadly.

Anyway, a bit off topic there! I think the E30 M3s are lovely, and only going to go up in value. A proper classic.

Good looking until you look at the boot spoiler from that rear view shot.

Too square for me, I love rides with vivacious curves

I love the E30 M3 & the Cosworth 190E,s & of course the Sierra Cosworth's , all epic performance motors in their day but look at the figures now & Mr Sales Rep in his 320d would smoke em
Rather put my £40k into a 993 turbo S  & smoke just about anything :driving:

I wouldn't buy any classic car because it was fast. I love the E30 as for me it's one of the best designed cars BMW ever made, and you can see its influence on design even today. Also, my dad had a bright red one when I was a kid, and I loved it :D

Owned by Jay Kay is enough to put me off as well. The guy is a tosser and his music is torture.

I'd love an e30 M3. Prices have been in the 30's for years now and they will only go one way. i think the same will happen with a lot of late 80s/early 90s hero cars. So many of the teens and 20 somethings that admired them but couldn't afford them when new are now hitting middle age and can afford or just want a toy. The market will continue to grow and strengthen for such cars. Much like the way all these old duffers in their 60s now want stags, MGs etc.

A Fiesta ST will probably destroy all but the super cars of this era. But that's not the point. It's about the experience of driving something pure with no computers making you look like a hero. Any idiot can drive a modern m car quick without killing themselves.......

Or can they?

It’s about the right money, has a bit of 'premium' in it with JK as the current/last owner. Recently there were a couple of last off the line low mileage Evos priced at £80k - one was at Munich Legends. :o

I couldn't care less if it was owned by someone famous but that looks so cool. I'd LOVE an E30 M3!

Watch this and tell me you don't feel the same..

If the money and opportunity ever present themselves I will not hesitate for one nano second in seizing with both hands.
