Has anyone got an event they are attending on January 1? I’ve heard about the phoenix pub in Hartley wintney. Not been before but I hear it is good albeit busy.

Hi Tony,

I went to the Phoenix at Hartley Wintney on 1 January 2020 and it was pretty busy, even though I got there late.

But I don't think it is an organised event as such, it just seems to happen! It's easy to find though as it is on the A30 - long before you get to Cornwall. :lol:

That Lotus Esprit John Players Special in Blac with gold, reminds me of an old workmate years ago, in the 80s(approx) who owned one at that time. Felt like a true Suoercar in its day, as I was still a Apprentice.

It was my first time there as usually marshalling brooklands new year day. It was excellent I thought great atmosphere and such a diverse selection some lovely BMWs
I must admit I didn’t take mine.
