What do we all think?

Christ, that's beautiful 8)
Cheers Ben

Just a shame it just looks black 364 days a year

I love 108’s Jamie, but only with the polished lip, which I th8nk yours do have.

I also l8ke those rare wheels you have as long as they are left in silver.

Permanent ish (renting for now)

Well welcome to the neighborhood! Also known as rush hour traffic hell, although if your still working Preston way the M61 Manchester/Bolton to Preston is usually pretty good, its going the other way its a mare!

Tell me about it! Mrs works in Salford and still takes her an hour to do 12 miles

Fortunately I can go over belmont if you know the road so it's a nice commute albeit limited to 50s
I know it well. Its certainly a much better commute you've got yourself there than trekking down into Salford at rush hour! Some nice roads in around Belmont etc but like you say they've ruined it a bit with the new speed limits.

They have indeed oh well good for some scenic pics

Thanks Steve /Kev

Id like to keep the 241s for spare but in honesty I'm heading for something 19 inch so these will put me on for now, they are burnished finish on the lips tho and look a lot more striking than the 241s imo

I'll still stick to my 295s - as they're E89 wheels the offset sits them much further out on my E86.

not seen them mate, you got a pic

Yes, here are a couple - same staggered sizes as 108s, but fronts are ET29 and rears are ET40.

Well you certainly nailed Ruby Black in the sun! Even if it mostly just looks black. :(

I like 108s, but they are high maintenance so I moved mine on.

A bit like Mrs Tidy, who also now lives at a different address.

Classic!

Cheers mate wanted to capture it best as possible, it does pop so much after a good going over with the rotary n then some wax it seems.

108s shouldn't be around for long just until I can afford some new 19s. Haven't quite decided whaf yet though

Ahh yes very simmlar to the 19 inch twists you get in the e9*s. Good choice

From your past exploits I suspect you'll change your mind a few times!

Looking forward to see what you do go for anyway.

Thanks mate.

Small update nothing exciting but an update nontheless

They've got a sale on auto finesse products in Halfords at the moment so took advantage an got a few bits

IMG_20190331_114618.jpg

Then I polished it using their tripple which leaves a lovely deep glossy finish

IMG_20190331_125826.jpg

Also gave the leather a bit of feeding as it felt a bit dry

IMG_20190331_125432.jpg

Picked up some led bulbs too for the interior worth a punt for a fiver

The 4 rings does have a strange draw... came from there to my old Z, went back, then dieselgate... which led me into 2 estates, before returning to the fold.

Looks lovely, surprised you’re not tempted to keep those 241’s, makes it very unusual & special - in a way didn’t like 108’s before I got my first, after a day wouldn’t change them for the world

Thanks Jembo I have still got the 241s bur they are cracked in 5cplaces so will just do for inbetween wheel changes.

Next piece of the puzzle I went to collect today

These are the more upmarket ones they do so will be interesting to see how it rides and handles

I've got that kit on mine. I find the ride quite harsh. Looking at getting a set of BC coilovers.

depends what your used to i guess? Ive had nothing but JOM and FK budgets in the past (maybe 50/80 sets  ) so I'm interested to see how they compare

Just fitted the Stance+ coilovers, suitably impressed! Needs an alignment and final adjustments but they seem good

Happy with the height too, don't want to go much lower as I have to navigate a road built in 1850 every time I go out in it

Little video of the process.

Apologies its in portrait, I'm still learning.

Just bagged myself a m sport steering wheel this morning after jumping In early as soon as I saw a red z4 m sport being broken

Also painted the grilles black. Never had black grilles before but thinking with the Ruby paint they'll tie in well. IMG_20190408_140046.jpgScreenshot_20190408-152031.jpg
