Well I see Mr Bond has eventually sold his 3.5is :fuelfire:

Dont suppose the link will be good for too long and taken down once the car is sold but it was the one he was selling only a few months ago or should I say sold to me then withdrew :poke:

Did you find yourself another E89 35is after that buying/selling fiasco?

I was after his car due to low mileage and cost but after the dust settled I decided to stick to my guns and go for a manual 3.5i and that one arrives mid May

I think you will have more fun with that

Not quite - but nearly as much fun! Pretty sure you'll enjoy though.

I'm pretty sure you can have more fun in a manual than an automatic on the hoon, surely compensating for the slight drop in power

I can see the point of view in DCT and manual so don't want this thread to become a DCT vs Manual argument

Was just letting everyone know Mr Bond has sold his 3.5is to a dealer for probably less than I offered and agreed to buy it for

bizarre really but clearly things are happening in his life for such weird behaviour, like we all have and do......
time to just let it be now.

Just like the jonny essex saga, I'm actually glad all that stuff is locked down, but do often wonder whats happened. Sometimes their are just other things happening behind the scenes and this internet is an easy cover up for those that wish to present things in a different way. Im certain no harm is meant and james has been very apologetic, not much else he can do really.

Im glad it ended all well and really look forward to seeing your new car.

If the dealer has it up for 32.5k I doubt Nick got more than 28k.

Would have been a bargain for someone on here - but after the last sale attempt it was never going to happen.

oh well - nobody died.
