It's actually not bad

Sorry Carol, but your taste and mine just had a massive barney, broke all the china including your Mum's favourite blown glass clown, and are now splitting the house - that's one of the feckin' ugliest creations I have ever had the misfortune to find on the 'net, and I dread to think what it looks like roof up... Not that they have been brave enough to release any. Horrible
Alright, alright, go and have a lie down in a darkened room.
I only said its not bad Jonathan. Go and get the super glue and fix my old mothers clown, you swine.

It's fugly - stop quoting the pic, it's hurting my eyes :telloff:

How did we go from beautiful, wonderful, sexy jaguar metal and arrive at the Posh Spice "designed" convertible hump of sh*te..? That is an awful car and if they release it, it will take the place of the Fiat Multipla as my most hated, worst looking car of all time. Where all drivers get the stare of disgust ;-)

Back to the jag please :-) I want the 5.0 V8, but its 75k! Hmm might have to save a few more pennies...

Interesting debate about the F-Type over on Pistonheads. Quite a few of the guys have been playing with configurator and coming up with £90k plus. Mind you if it's the R version (with 495hp it will still be pretty good pace for the price.

I want to love this car but I don't really. There were some preview shots on Pistonheads of the Coupe - now that did look sexy so maybe it's just a Roadster thing with me.

Whatever I think i hope it sells well though.

As others have said it better drive well at the price their pitching it at,the competition all do !
Still think it looks great though

I think you are bound to prefer the coupe given current choice. I believe that will hit the streets in 2014.

What I can say is that orders and enquiries are pouring in at my dealers, so somebody has got something right.

As for me I'd take then roadster or coupe in a heartbeat. Best looking piece of metal on the road at that price by far.

I'm not surprised by that. Although I'm not a big fan personally I want JLR to do well for Brum and for the UK as a whole. Some great products coming out recently.

I really quite like that... But at that price, i would pay a bit more and go for a 911.

If it was boxter territory then it would do very well.

I think it looks fantastic  Jaguar are making some nice cars at the moment I really like the XF & XK.

And then you would have paid more money to have the most common sports car on the road....yawn.

:fuelfire: I for one am glad that someone is making something different!

I would rather have this Jag over the 911 any day of the week on looks alone, however I do think it's a tad lardy though

I think Jag is banking on bridging the gap between a Boxster and a 911 Carrera Cab. There's plenty of £'000's difference and no real segment there being exploited by anyone at present. A well spec'd R at over £90k is ridiculous though.

There's a "making of" video on here of the add promo vid.
