Jag f type

To exspensive if there could sell it sub £35k there would put every other manufacture out of business.....

Crap panel gaps. Look at the drivers side headlight.
Car is a pre-production prototype, gearing up for full production in the new year. Sale cars will be excellent quality........they say :)

I can't recall the last time a maker said the sale cars will be crap! The car makers always say they will be excellent quality. I'm sure Yugo said that as well.

rayz4 see if you can see how much the road tax is on the disc might give some indication on engine size etc

Could be one of three..

I really like it, but have to agree that if they really wanted to sell a sports car in good numbers it should have priced between the zed/SLK and Boxster.

They can make an XF for £32k, sure they could make the F type £35k for the basic model, I certainly would have considered one at £40k

I think JLR now position themselves above the main 3 German brands - Evoque pricing has shown this where endless people are parting with 40k plus for a small sized 4x4. Range Rover starts at 70k plus and dealers are right on their allocation.

Based on this pricing structure there was no way an iconic name like F type was going to enter the marked at TT Z4 levels.

A fair point. What we will find out if this niche in the market actually exists at all or whether JLR got their sums wrong.

I wished I hadn't just heard that ...

Looks nice! Sounds nice! 8)

Wonder if they will show the way to BMW for making those style of wheels without the cracking?
