The jack points are obvious when you look under the sills on a non M. You'll see a rubber block with a rectangular shape recess for an adapter. The adaptor is not strictly necessary but they are useful
The side points are obvious with the rubber blocks.
There's a non official point at the back which is good, then use your stand on them side point. It's as the cross beams join
No cause for alarm but when you use a jack at the jack point the opposite wheel ( if you raise the rear the front may also raise) the chassis is very stiff.
jack where you like it's a question of balance!!
front look under sill rectinglar box, about door hinge line. Back under sill again in front or rear wheels rectinglar box again.
Thanks for the response. Looking at another thread might find my jack is not low enough so may have to employ the drive wheel onto block of wood trick.
Have to be honest. Didn't get round to it today. The weather was so glorious I just couldn't resist dropping the top and going for a drive. Lovely!
