Jacking point

A friend of mine - ahem - wasn't looking where he was going and clipped the corner of a high kerb in a car park with the underside of my, sorry his car at low speed......no damage done other than the hard rubber jacking point got ripped off.....it appears to just clip in, although the plastic fixing was a bit mangled...anyone know if they are (i) cheap and (ii) easy to refit, and I'll - ahem - pass the info on...

Thank goodness it is a old car from 1956 ... :)

Have you checked realoem?

$18.44 according to realoem, could be worse!....whats the score in terms of using them or is it just a source for part numbers and ballpark price indicator?

oh the shame of it all.....

wouldn't mind but there were a crowd of people drinking outside the pub across the road who all turned round to see what the graunching noise was - the smugometer was waaaaaaaay off the dial over there I can tell you. ba5tard5!

I lost one recently too.

New one was about £8.50, just put it up into the hole, and then a central pin can be pressed through and opens the back of part which is now inside the sill and holds it in place.

10 second job, from standing up to being stood back up again :D

Has anyone got a part Number for this?

Having a bad day and can't find it on Real OEM!

Cheers guys
