Jack axle points

I would like to jack all 4 corners of the car to put on axle stands but where would you put the stands as your using the jacking up point already..

Stupid question no doubt

A question asked many times. I use these which enable the car to be jacked up and then supported at the same jack point. Bought them in them US .Not cheap now especialy when only used occasionaly, but they do provide a soloid platform for working.

Jack under the rear jacking points and it will lift the front enough to gets stands under the front jacking points then jack the rear under the point where the braces cross just behind the diff. Easy.

What jacking method do forum members use if they just want access to the oil drain cover area for an oil change (E86 Coupe)?

If you really want to do it that way then you ideally need to lift all four corners. I've never bothered as i just pump it out though the dipstick tube.

That won't work on a facelift as they don't have a physical dip-stick, just an electronic one. :(
