I’ve seen the light

A slightly click bait title.

I’ve got a new head torch. Less than £15 with great reviews so I thought it was worth a punt.

Feels more expensive than it is.

Nice little budget light. Comes with the rechargeable battery, head band, pocket clip and a lanyard.

I wish the torch would slip in and out of the headband one handed and that the magnet on the bottom was a little stronger. But these are minor points considering the price.

Waiting for a chance to use it.

I would love a decent head torch, as I need one almost every day when building my POS car.
I have two. A cheap disposable battery one and a more expensive disposable battery one. Both munch through AAA batteries like they are going out of fashion.
And both have knackered elastic headbands after about a year of constantly taking them on and off.

I would pay good money for a rechargeable one, but fear the elastic (the most important bit) wouldn't be any better.

I have a million lumens of LED lights in the garage, but they never give light where you need it on a car. :x

I've had this one for over a year now. I'm using it constantly while on call through the night, and I have no complaints at all. I'd definitely recommend it.

My wife said Aldi had one built into a woolly hat. Great for winter but not so much in summer.

With the Sofrin and similar brands the torch can be removed from the holder so you could buy a replacement headband. The rechargeable battery is also removable that can be replaced if you run out or when it degrades

Watch a few YouTube reviews. Looks like there are lots of torch experts kicking about.

🤦😂

The rechargeable feature is what sold me on these. Got tired of buying batteries for my old one, this seems much more practical.
