I've painted my Calipers / wheel hubs

I used silver smoothrite and mine came up a treat, I didn't have anywhere near the prep work you had though, your calipers were pretty bad before! It's a surprisingly satisfying job Funny, I painted my nuts also using the cardboard box method too.

I've just been doing my nuts this evening - gloss black, think I might even clear-coat them tomorrow :lol:

looks like when I did mine I went to great effort not to spray the disc itself masking it all up, however I am guessing its ok to do that after seeing this pic? Looks great btw

When I sprayed my lotus discs I didn't worry about overspray onto the braking surface, a quick blast round the block afterwards & the pads had scrubbed off the paint in a perfectly tailored arc with no ill effects
