I've ordered my new Z4.

Hey everyone,

I've ordered my new Z4 - being built in May and delivered in early June. I can't wait.

It's a 35is, Sapphire Black, Coral Red leather with a few goodies as extras. I've also picked the dark ash trim because I have the aluminium in my current 335 and fancied a change. I hope I've not spoiled it by doing that. Anyway, it's done now.

I'm counting down the days and wishing April and May away.

Welcome Chutters, what a treat you have in store. I was 50/50 on colour combination, in the end I went for Red/Black not Black/Red so really looking forward to seeing it. The silver wingies will really stand out against Sapphire Black 8) and I think dark ash will be lush.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've ticked another day off the wait - it's like waiting for Christmas! Every sunny day between now and June will be torment.

Also, isn't it strange that I was very happy with my 335d right up until the point I ordered the Z4. Now I can't wait to see the back of it.

That's not fair!! I ordered mine before you and mine isn't being built till Production week 25 (18 June)
How did you wangle that???

I've had some good news - the production date is sooner than the dealer originally said - now coming w/c 16th May.

I've bought some new sunglasses to celebrate.

Maybe the spec I chose is quicker to make!

Am going to look to order my Alpine White 35i this weekend.....same config as mine, but with TV option, and maybe cruise control too...

If any of you guys want my wind deflector, you can have it.....I don't like the look of it and don't think it does much good either..
