I’ve just noticed this

I think there is a post on the forum regarding features that have only recently been noticed by owners but I can’t find it.

After all these years of ownership I thoroughly I would be very surprised to find something new but I have.

It seemed very odd that the auto ON headlights had no notification of showing it the headlights had been switched on - but I’ve only just noticed a little Green tell tale light to the left of the rotary switch !

I thought that light was to signal wifey was about to serve supper. Oh well.

Yes, every time. And a shot of my favourite whisky on the rocks. Best wifey ever.

 Yes it's normally masked by your hand and the steering wheel, unless you permanently lean to the right!

Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs - so it does
Only had it 7 years
TBF though I can't see it for the steering wheel rim.

I’m glad to learn it’s not only me!

My E90 has the same little green light.

My first 2 E86s didn't have any sort of indication, but my MC has a proper green light in the instrument cluster where you can see it! :)

That makes more sense

The small hooks on the mesh in the rollover hoops, the Velcro tabs at the bottom of the back wall of the boot, the 'clips' (which don't work) for the bits & bobs net that runs across (and falls off) the bulkhead step behind the seats, the primitive way the frame for the aforesaid net is fitted (and then isn't), very annoying rattle from the boot that stops when you put the roof down ...
