such a shame its not a coupe

went for 2nd best, never mind
well you know what they say... 1st the worst, 2nd the best! :poke:

I have a growing suspicion that Taz only purchased a Coupe so that no one could see he has leg stilts to reach the peddles

PS nice one Srhutch, great car what ever the shape

Well, not identical of course as you don't have the stubby ... :D

No mention of wind deflector could either point to you missing it off or because you don't need it, or you don't have it 8)

Look forward to seeing it, they are unforgettable cars that is for sure and even though "real life" performance might not be shockingly different, it is the experience of the drive that is so different which you can not explain to those that don't have an M and only look at the on-paper figures.

This statement makes me want to buy one!
But with high mileage, higher tax bracket and shocking ///m servicing costs - can i really warrant one? Maybe i should do a test drive and can i get an ///m in Phoenix Yellow? :) :driving:

Steve - its only taken you a year!

what PVR says is spot on, the costs aren't to bad for me using as a toy, insurance will be cheaper than my 2.5si if the quote I got is right, tax is double, but you can get an Ispection 2 done for £500 at Bartley's in Southampton who seem very good, so even servicing isn't bad.

Insurance for Z4M is cheaper than 2.5si?

My Z4M insurance is cheaper than my 3.0 was. Guess as you are coming into real "cherished" cars areas statistics for accidents etc might be better.

Quoted £387 for the ///M and paid £500 for the 2.5si last year.

Congrats, you took your time and got there in the end, but with insurance that low you must be old :poke:
Who's the insurance with? A-Plan couldn't find anyone willing to insure me recently :|

Having seen Hark's reduced price on his Z4MR it's got me looking again, just days after I decided I can't afford one  I think a trip to a local dealer that has a coupe in stock is on the cards for the weekend.
Just for the giggles of seeing him work out a trade in value for an 840

My dads E46 M3 was £200 to insure then he got an E92 M3 £145!!!!!!! now he's traded that in for a Porsche CS and its £225! incredible! lol

Nice work :D

How much did you pay in the end srhutch?

I keep looking at them and think they are a fantastic car for the money now... I can't see them loosing too much more money in the bigger scheme of things.
