I've done my back in!!

Guvnor

One can always entertain your nice Z and anything else on the agenda if there Is a whole weekend paid for.

One wouldn't want to waste money:)

I find these spasms are diminished with some Syrah or cabarnet :)

I used to get lower back spasms alot whereby you couldn't stand straight with the body pulled to one side and out of alighnment, very painful and usually found it would take a good 3 days to a week before it would slowly subside. It would happen doing the simplest of movements and would happen one or twice a month. I always found my local GP pretty useless, I expect as they see it all the time, ahh bad bad take some asprin approach. I found when it happened forcing myself no matter how painful to walk rather than just laid up resting which made it worse. After a little reading up I started taking a daily combination of Omega 3 fish oil and 1500mg high strength Glycosomine tablets and very rarely now if at all suffer any back problems. Coincidence I've no idea but I'm certain taking Glycosomine has worked for me. Important thing initially is to see a specialist to ensure its not a ruptered disc or something sinister like Osteo Spondilitus which my dad had and which worried me in case it could be passed on in the family.
