Hi,

I've changed the oil on my car and wondered if I could update the car's computer to let it know.

I see on the Intravee it will say how many Inspection and Oil services the car is had. So how do I update this?

Thanks,

Dan

Just did mine last week. Here is how I reset mine:

- Iginition OFF (POS 0)
- Press and Hold the trip odometer button while turning key to Position 1 (Accesory)
- Keep the button depressed (about 5 seconds) until you see 'Oil Service' or 'Inspection' with 'Reset' or 'Re' in the display
- Press the button again and hold for approx. 5 seconds until 'Reset' or 'Re' flashes
- While the display is flashing, briefly press the button again to reset the Service Interval.

The onboard computer will record this has been done and the info extracted so be sure resetting corresponds with the appropriateservice orr it could come back to bite you on resale.

Ah ok.

My computer is a bit messed up actually! The last service was an Inspection 2 but it was only due an oil service. It's now saying Inspection is due in 2,000 miles. I've just changed the oil now.

I think I'll just leave the computer and get an Inspection 1 done in 2,000 miles. Reset the computer then.

Or are you saying you can choose which service you reset? Or does it just give you the option it's expecting?
